Vodka Marinated Salmon with Grated Ginger

- For 4 Fillets
- 4 tablespoons vodka
- 8 tablespoons soy sauce
- 3 tablespoon grated ginger
- 3 tablespoon grated daikon
- 1 table spoon grated onion
- 4 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
- 2 tablespoons water
- Marinate
- 4 tablespoons vodka
- 4 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon grated ginger
- 1 tablespoon grated onion or daikon
- Ginger Soy Sauce
- 4 tablespoons soy sauce
- 4 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
- 2 tablespoons water
- 2 tablespoons grated ginger
- 2 tablespoons grated daikon (optional)
- Mix all together
Directions
Place salmon on a platter, and pour marinade over the salmon. Allow to sit for 30 minutes to 1 hour. Heat large ovenproof frying pan that can accommodate the fish. Pour 2-3 tablespoons sunflower or olive oil in to the pan. Place fish (flesh side down) into the pan and allow to cook 1 ½ - 2 minutes. Turn and finish cooking on the other side for another 1 ½ - 2 minutes. Serve with seasonal steamed vegetables tossed with ginger soy sauce.
