Salmon Sausage Jambalaya
Not your usual Jambalaya… Purely Healthy Living takes it to the next level with our new Salmon Sausages.

Ingredients(serves 4-6)

  • Salmon Sausages
  • 1 cup of shrimp
  • ¼ chopped onion
  • ½ cup of chopped celery
  • 1 chopped bell pepper
  • 2 chopped jalapeños
  • 3 chopped tomatoes
  • 1 tsp of sea salt (½ tbsp of flaked sea salt)
  • 1 tsp of paprika
  • 1 tsp of sumac powder
  • ½ tbsp of dried parsley
  • ½ tbsp of red pepper flakes
  • ½ tbsp of green onions
  • 1 tsp of garlic powder
  • ¼ tsp of black pepper
  • ⅔ cup of bone broth
  • 2 cups of palm heart “rice”

Instructions

In a skillet cook for 3 minutes the onion and celery, then add the jalapeños and bell pepper, cook for 2 minutes. Add the seasonings, shrimp and salmon sausages and cook for 5 minutes stirring occasionally. Add the tomatoes and palm heart rice, stir and let it cook for 2 minutes. Add the bone broth, stir and let everything cook for 8 minutes. Serve and enjoy!
